Hey there!
If you're here, I must have handed you a sample of a lovely coffee to try. Want to know what it is?
First, try the coffee using your favorite brewing method and pay attention to what you taste. How's the coffee's acidity, body and sweetness?
Do you have any assumptions or predictions about what the coffee is? Take note of any thoughts before scrolling down to reveal what the coffee is.
Before the big reveal, I want to tell you a bit about Cherry Love!
I've worked in green coffee sourcing and quality control for almost a decade.
But, when I was first getting started, it wasn't always an easy or fun process to get up to speed on the concepts I wanted to learn about.
I've met tons of people who feel intimidated by this part of the industry, or just are not sure where to start in a way that seems affordable or feasible. These workshops get expensive!
So, I created an educational subscription box, using a blind tasting method, to cover topics I've learned in my coffee career, and introduce fun challenges and games to make the process a bit more fun along the way.
What is Cherry Love?
Cherry Love is an educational blind tasting subscription that gives your blind four coffees every month, along with an activity book. The book leads you through a guided tasting of the coffees, covers important topics regarding the coffees int your box, and challenges you with fun sensory challenges and puzzles along the way!
If you're looking to:
-Boost your sensory skills
-Amp up your coffee knowledge
-Taste interesting and high-quality coffees fro the best roasters in Europe
-Taste with your friends, team or online with other subscribers
-Gamify your at-home coffee experience
Then Cherry Love was made for you ;)
You can click here to learn more about the experience and subscribe!
You ready for the big reveal?
Your mystery coffee is:
Name: Diima Chelchele, aka "Juicebox"
Roaster: Wide Awake
Country: Ethiopia
Process: Washed
Roast Date: 28 August, 2024
I love this coffee for its delicate body and sweetness, with some nice tangy acidity and stone fruit notes. It's that time of year for Ethiopian coffees to arrive on roaster's menus, so enjoy them while you can!
I hope you enjoyed this experience!
Happy tasting. :)
